Security Notes - Your Gate Security
Team Lets all welcome the new Security company, “Job1USA Security! Job1USA Security Services was founded in 1951 by Frank H. Rumpf, a career personnel administrator who held the distinction of serving as the first President of the National Association of Temporary Services. Job1USA is a national organization with headquarters in Toledo, Ohio and offices across the USA. We also maintain on-locationtm coordinators to manage the personnel needs of our larger clients. Job1USA Security is dedicated to the safety and security of client assets, thereby ensuring our clients can conduct their business without interruption. To assist in the prevention, deterrence and detection of vandalism, theft or safety-related incidents, our trained patrol officers patrol your property in clearly marked vehicles while you are away at work or sleeping for the evening. If we find evidence of criminal activity, we notify local law enforcement immediately via our 24-hour dispatching capabilities. Mike has been with Southern Dunes Security for the
past five years. As of April 1st, 2009 Mike was promoted to Site
Supervisor.
Officer
Marr moved to Florida from Virgina in January 2009. While he lived
in VA, he spent years serving the community. Officer Marr started in
public safety in February 2001. He graduated from the Hampton Road
Criminal Justice training academy and became a Deputy Sheriff with
the Newport News Sheriffs Office. Officer Marr was a member of the
Sheriffs Emergency Response Team also known a S.E.R.T. He left the
Newport News Sheriffs Office in August of 2004 and joined the
Glousters County Sheriffs Office, his home town. While employed with
Gloucester, he worked extra duty with the United States Marshall
Service assisting with court security and transportation of federal
inmates. He also became a volunteer firefighter/EMT in 2003. He was
elected to the board of directors as the personnel officer and
served one year in that position. Officer Marr is a second
generation firefighter as his Father and Uncle are both
firefighters. He decided he wanted to purse the fire service and
joined the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue in October of 2005.
He graduated from the Tidewater Regional Fire Academy, but stayed
with the Sheriffs office as an auxiliary deputy until he moved to
Florida. Officer Marr holds many certifications, and has many
classes in public safety. Officer Marr hopes that his experience
will help make the community more secure and looks forward to
assisting the residents and guests of Southern Dunes in any way he
can.
I
was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, April 24, 1973. Raised in a
metropolitan area outside of San Juan, PR. As a young child I was
always interested in becoming a Policeman. After graduating with
honors with a 4.0 I decided to pursue my career at the Police
Academy of Puerto Rico, graduating in 1995 with top honors. That
same year after graduating I became a SWAT member of the tactical
unit of the City of San Juan Police Department. After being with
them for a year, I began to work as a Security Advisor for the
largest mall (Plaza Las Americas in San Juan, Puerto Rico) for
Ranger American of Puerto Rico for 9 years.
